Earthwork Program
The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County Ohio, adopted the Earthwork Regulations on November 1, 1990. The regulations and procedures have been enacted specifically to help eliminate, or at least minimize creation of new, or aggravation of existing sensitive land areas and formations within unincorporated Hamilton County through control of earthwork activities. The regulations are adopted to prevent hazards, safeguard life, limb, property and public welfare, to preserve the natural environment of the unincorporated Hamilton County as it relates to the stability of hillsides and slopes, and to control erosion and sedimentation by the regulation of earth disturbing activities, excavating and filling of land.
